Le programme :

Day 1 : December 30th: Marrakesh – Tizi-n-Tichka – Agdz – Zagora – M’hamid

Early meeting at 7:30 a.m., we’ll leave by 4WD vehicle to M’hamid through the Tizi-n-Tichka pass. We’ll visit the Tamdakhte Kasbah and also the Ait Ben Haddou one before we arrive in Ouarzazate where we’ll have lunch.
Then we’ll go to Zagora, we’ll visit the Agdz town, we’ll have a panoramic view on the Draa valley. We’ll keep going along Tanskhirt where the track ends.
Going towards  M’hamid, we’ll stop at Tamgroute to visit the Koranic library (if you like), the underground Kasbah and the pottery manufacture.Then we’ll arrive in M’hamid where we’ll spend the evening and overnight.

Day 2: December 31st: M’hamid- oasis – Chegaga

After breakfast, you’ll be riding a camel for 1 hour. Then we’ll go by a 4WD vehicle on a sandy track to Chegaga grand dunes, the highest dunes in Morocco. Lunch will be taken in the shade of a palm tree or a tamarisk. We’ll drive again on a track in the afternoon. We’ll arrive at  Chegaga bivouac to climb the highest dune and watch the sunset.

In the middle of the desert, New Year’s Eve is taking place partly in the big caidale restaurant tent for dinner and partly outside around the fire camp, for the aperitif and the evening animation.
A delicious traditional dinner will be served, with the traditional "Harrira” soup, a barbecued sheep (stewed in a special oven : celebration specialty),  couscous, and a dessert composed of a seasonal fruit-basket (included : mineral water and a bottle of wine for 3 people). There will be tea and Moroccan pastries during all the evening.
Animations : Evening with nomad folfklore, Sahraoui music, typical of the desert where we find the inspiration of African rhythm (favorable to dance) played by the young villagers. The overnight will be spent in the bivouac.

Day 3: January 1st: Chegaga – Iriki Lale – Foum Zguid – Taznakht – Marrakesh

Leaving towards Marrakesh by a track between Chegaga Erg and the arid bed of Draa through the Iriki Lake, then via Foum Zguid and we’ll keep driving to Tazkht.You’ll go back to Marrakesh, many breaks will be taken during the day between Taznakht and Marrakech before we arrive at the hotel.
