Le programme :
Day 1: Agadir - Taroudant - Ouarzazate and its Kasbahs
Departure at 7:30 in the morning from your Hotel in direction of Taroudant then Ouarzazate, the door of the Great South. Upon arrival in Ouarzazate you will have lunch, then visit the ksar of Ait ben haddou, and the kasbah Taourirt strolls in the city of cinema, dinner and night in riad at the hotel.
Day 2: Valley of the Draa - Zagora - Tamegroute - M'hamid
Departure from OUARZAZATE to the desert down the DRAA valley. Landscape of palm grove in which are hidden family gardens and charming small villages that one crosses by taking a few km of track through the villages of the valley.
Lunch in ZAGORA. Visit of the workshops and potters' ovens in TAMGROUTE, possibility also to visit the Koranic library, for the amateurs of ancient manuscripts. The road towards M'hamid crosses already desert landscapes.
The arrival at M'hamid in the late afternoon allows us to settle in our fixed bivouac at 2km from the village in the middle of the first dunes and to witness the sunset. Evening meal, evening atmosphere bivouac and night Comfortable under the tent.
Day 3: Raz Nahal - Douib - dromedary hike.
Departure from M'HAMID at 9h00 in the morning, with dromedaries, your guide and your camel driver for 2h30 of walk towards the oasis of Mhamid at the gates of the desert, Meal from noon to the palm grove (RAZ NAHAL) 2h walk in the crossing of small dunes to a nice place where you will spend the night (DOUIB) in itinerant bivouac.
Day 4: Douib - sacred oasis - erg Chegaga
After breakfast another 1h30 of walk, then departure in 4x4 by a sandy track for the big dunes of Chegaga.
Lunch at our erg chegaga bivouac, and the afternoon free in the dunes to enjoy the magic of the desert, do some sandboarding if you wish, then climb one of the highest dunes to attend At sunset, dinner and night under tent or under the stars.
Day 5: Chegaga - Lake Iriqui - Foum Zguid - Agadir
After breakfast, departure for Agadir by the track between the erg of Chegaga and the dried bed of Drâa passing by the lake Iriqui, (vast surface of sand) then by Foum Zguid and continuation by the road via Taznakht. Stop at the carpet cooperative if desired, for explanations about the different kinds of carpets in the area. Continuation of the road towards Agadir, passing by the village of Taliouine and the city of Taroudant.
